 Virginia Nippon Classic (Newport News)

 June 4, 2007

The 17th Virginia Nippon Classic was held at James River Country Club. Virginia Economic Development Partnership organized this event and Japan-Virginia Society (JVS) supported it.

James River Country Club is completely private, and usually members only are allowed to play.

The clubhouse is time-honored!

The clubhouse maintains the oldest golf museum in the world.

The business conference was held in the conference room of the clubhouse in the morning.

Mr. Gary McLaren, VEDP,  gave his address as organizer of the business conference.

This course has very good maintenance and layout. Golf in the afternoon was captain's choice, where they choose the best ball of four players'.

 This year's Champion Team!

Japan Airlines donated a free air ticket for the door prize.
