  Business Seminar (Colonial Heritage Club)

  October30, 2009


 

 We held our business seminar in the conference room of the Colonial Heritage Club again!

 We invited Mr. Roy C. Dahlquist (International Investment Manager) from Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP), Mr. C.Knox Hubart (Senior International Trade Manager), and Ms. Leslie Parpart (Valet Program Manager International Trade). The seminar's title was "Defining Virginia's support for International Companies".  The Fourteen (14) people who attended the seminar included directors and human resource personnel from Japanese affiliated companies.

 

Mr. Dahlquist talked about  up-to-date information regarding international companies in Virginia. Virginia is officially commended by Forbes as one of the most appropriate states for business. Mr. Dahlquist is one JVS Board of Directors.

 

Mr. Hubert talked about support program regarding trade for companies in Virginia.

 

 

 

Ms. Parpart talked about Valet program which is an important part of the support program.

 

 

Everybody listens attentively.

 

 

 

Mr. Ota, Board of Director and also Chairman of the JVS, concluded the seminar.

 

 

We enjoyed a wonderful golf outing in the afternoon with great whether and temperature.
